Cameron Loewenstein

Born in Los Angeles and raised in the Napa Valley, Cameron Loewenstein attended
the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where he attained his BFA in
Film Editing. While in school, he interned at
Muse Media Center in
Emeryville, right across the street from Pixar Animation Studios. After
helping to build the new facility at Muse, he eventually began to edit short films,
industrials and music videos that came through. After graduation in 2006, he
subbed as the machine room technician for the facility, but then decided to head
back to his birthplace of Los Angeles, where he continues work on freelance
projects for clients like Cisco Networking, Diesel, and Lang & Reed Wines. Cameron
has worked with directors like Michael Goorjian and Antony Waller. Currently, he's
working on a documentary series with director Michael Mann, scheduled to air on HBO
in early 2012.
Winner of the 2006
Elevate Film Festival award for Best Editing in a narrative
for the short film "Player's Club" directed by
Michael Goorjian.
